Kia ora koutou

This week we have a handy link to a Network for Learning blog and there is a notice about the Literacy and Numeracy Allowance base rate for primary principals on NZEI agreements.

Primary principals increase to Literacy and Numeracy Allowance

From pay period 9 (pay day 23 July), principals on the Primary Principals’ (NZEI) Collective Agreement 2023–2025 or Individual Employment Agreement 2023, will be paid an increase to the base payment of the Leadership in Literacy and Numeracy Allowance. The increase is effective from 22 July 2024. The base payment is increasing from $2,320 to $4,000. There is nothing schools need to do.
