Reminder about public holidays and unpaid leave
As next month includes the Easter break and Anzac Day, it might be good to remind employees at your school about public holidays and unpaid leave. Employees aren’t paid for public holidays that fall while they’re on planned unpaid leave. They’re only eligible to be paid for public holidays on days they would normally have worked.
EdPay authorised users – adding new users, changing details or removing access
We sometimes get emails asking us to remove or add people to this newsletter’s mailing list. We’d like to help, but the mailing list is linked to our database of EdPay authorised users and we can’t make any changes to authorised users or their details without an official request.
Please download the latest version of any form from the EdPay and forms page on our website, as forms are updated from time to time. Email forms to us here.
You can download the list of your school’s current authorised users from EdPay. Go to: EdPay > Reports > Authorised User Report.
For more information about authorised users, see our webpage here.
SUE reports - payments to terminated employees
We have had some enquiries about payments to terminated employees in SUE reports. These payments are the result of the collective agreements' scope adjustment where more terminated jobs became eligible for lump sums or back pay. Please see School Support Staff, Kaiārahi i te Reo and Primary Teachers' collective agreement variations in the last payroll update for more information.
